Wellington, New Years Eve 2007
Arriving in the capital city of Wellington, we very quickly found our accommodations and took a walk to acquaint ourselves with options to ring in the new year 18 hours before all of you back home. Cuba Street, just a few blocks from our hotel offered the best options. After a meal a Monsoon Poon, we strolled to Cuba street, Found an appropriate club and reaffirmed that fact that we are to old for that scene, or at the very least too intolerant of blaring music and plastered locals, ahh what the hell it’s New years Eve!

Hey Dan,
Great blog! Love the posts and snaps from New Zealand. Can you tell us how you go about posting while you are 'on the road.' What equipment are you using? How do you connect to the internet and such? Aside from the power problems have you had any others?
